What is I Play Rocky About?
I Play Rocky dramatizes the true story behind the creation of Rocky.
In the 1970s, Sylvester Stallone was an unknown and struggling actor when he wrote the screenplay for Rocky.
Despite receiving offers for the script, he refused to sell it unless he was allowed to play Rocky Balboa.
The film follows his determination to protect that vision and turn an unlikely screenplay into one of cinema’s most famous underdog stories.
